Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy is Choice of Priority Health

Grand Rapids, MI November 11, 2006 – Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy announced that it is the only local provider (and one of only two in the country) selected to assist patients in Priority Health’s service area for nine (9) classes of injectables. Priority Health’s patients will be served by Diplomat in downtown Grand Rapids.
“Our injectable program is designed specifically to ease the burdens patients face in the management of their challenging conditions,” stated Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy President, Phil Hagerman. “Working closely with patients and their physicians we can keep patients more adherent on their medication therapies and that translates into healthier patients.”
The following nine (9) classes of injectables will be provided by Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy:
- Anemia Drugs (Aranesp, Epogen, Procrit)
- Neutropenia Drugs (Leukine, Neulasta, Neupogen)
- Cycstic Fibrosis (Pulmozyme, TOBI)
- Oncology (Gleevec, Sprycel)
- Arthritis drugs (such as Enbrel and Humira)
- Human Growth Hormone drugs (such as Norditropin and Endocrin)
- Hepatitis C drugs (such as Pegasys)
- Multiple Sclerosis drugs (such as Betaseron, Copaxone and Rebif)
- Psoriasis drugs (such as Enbrel)
