Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy to Offer Co-Pay Assistance Program for Patients Needing GELCLAIR®

Swartz Creek, Mich., Sept 16, 2008 – Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy announced today that they have entered into a corporate agreement with EKR Therapeutics Inc. of Bedminster, NJ to offer co-payment assistance for EKR’s oral medication GELCLAIR.®GELCLAIR is indicated for the management of oral pain and relief of pain by adhering to the mucosal surface of the mouth and soothing oral lesions caused by chemotherapy or radiation therapy. “Diplomat constantly searches for new and innovative options to help patients offset their co-payments on needed medications,” stated Mark Neville, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Diplomat. “Once patients are approved for co-payment assistance, Diplomat will dispense and coordinate shipment of GELCLAIR at no additional charge.”
Diplomat will manage and provide insurance prior authorization assistance and benefits investigation at no charge to patients, and EKR will offer prescription co-pay assistance for GELCLAIR which will be facilitated by Diplomat.
