Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy Selected to Lead National Patient Assistance Program Workshop

Swartz Creek, Mich., September 4, 2008 – Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy announced today that they were selected to lead a national Patient Assistance Program (PAP) workshop. The workshop is part of the annual conference provided by the Institute for International Research, taking place September 17- 19, 2008 in Washington, DC. Diplomat will facilitate the workshop with Chronic Disease Fund. The PAP conference brings together professionals from Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Specialty Pharmaceutical, Specialty Pharmacy and non-profit organizations for 3 days of inspiration and information.“Diplomat was chosen to represent specialty pharmacy at our 2008 Fall PAP conference due to their high touch, specialty drug access model that they provide their patients,” stated Rhona Galbraith, Marketing Manager for Institute for International Research. “The conference will provide a forum for PAP professionals to discuss ideas and learn best practices surrounding all aspects of PAPs.”
