Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy Provides Nexavar® - National Oncology Personalized Management Program

Swartz Creek, Mich. Dec. 4, 2007—Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy, a leader in personalized medication programs and Disease Management, announced today that their Oncology Navigator Program now provides Nexavar® for liver cancer patients. Diplomat’s Oncology Navigator Program is a bridge between the physician, health plan and the cancer patient.The announcement comes on the heels of the FDA’s approval of a supplemental New Drug Application for Nexavar tablets for the treatment of patients with unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), or liver cancer. Nexavar, an oral anticancer drug, is the first approved systemic therapy for liver cancer and the only one shown to significantly improve overall survival in patients with the disease.
