Vice President, Pharmacy Strategy

Rinku Patel, PharmD is Diplomat’s Vice President, Pharmacy Strategy; previously, she served as Diplomat’s Director of Pharmacy Development and Operations. As Vice President, Dr. Patel is focused on 3 primary areas:

Pharmacy Technology – Directing and managing the pharmacy’s dispensing system, the company’s proprietary electronic patient care management system (eNAV™), Informatics solution (InfoNav) and future technology developments related to pharmacy technology solutions.

Pharmacy Operations – Supporting the development and implementation of Diplomat’s expanding business lines, including contracts with Managed Care, Pharmaceutical Manufacturers, Clinical Research Organizations and other industry stakeholders.

Pharmacy Clinical Services – Leading the company’s expanding team of clinical pharmacists in the continued development of Diplomat’s high-touch pharmaceutical care programs.

Dr. Patel is a registered pharmacist with over 10 years of operational and strategic development experience in the areas of Specialty Pharmacy, Home Infusion, and Pharmacy Technology. Prior to joining Diplomat, she was the Director of Procurement & Pharma Relations at -OptionCare; and at Caremark, Dr. Patel was the Manager of Contracts and Trade Relations and served as an IT Pharmacist. Dr. Patel is a graduate of the Bachelors in Pharmacy and Doctor of Pharmacy programs at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois. Her broad industry experience is a tremendous advantage to Diplomat and supports our continued national expansion and long term growth. Dr. Patel is a member of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society.
