Steve Chaffee, R.Ph.

Co-owner and Sr. Vice President of Pharmacy Development

Steve is a 1980 graduate of Ferris State University where he currently serves as an adjunct faculty member. He is experienced with all aspects of business management and development. Before taking on his role at Diplomat Pharmacy, Steve owned and operated several, successful independent pharmacies. His additional experience includes the medical supply business and business start-ups.

Steve is responsible for the immunology, growth hormone, multiple sclerosis and hepatitis C units of business for Diplomat, and works closely with the operations and marketing team to offer a superior service platform for patient care. He has special interest in drug commercialization launch strategies, and has served on many manufacturer advisory boards and panels for specialty pharmacy. He is an avid fly fisherman and cyclist and is a loving husband and father.

Steve’s strong background in pharmacy development, coupled with his business acumen, has been a driving force in the company’s growth and success.
