Started in 1973, by Dale Hagerman,(father of current CEO and President Phil Hagerman) our Flint location is Diplomat’s flagship pharmacy. Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy has evolved over the years from a traditional pharmacy to one recognized by the Michigan Pharmacy Association and many others as a national innovator.

Our facility in Flint offers custom compounding, cholesterol screening, one-on-one patient counseling and community-based wellness programs. In addition we provide CHAP accredited, comprehensive infusion services, including comfortable outpatient infusion suites.

We also provide a dialysis medication management and delivery program that is the nation’s largest and most complete program. Following this success, services for additional chronic conditions are also offered including Oncology, Psoriasis, Chronic Kidney Disease, HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C, Transplant, Fertility, Arthritis and more. With new compliance and educational programs under development, we continue to expand our services by finding unique ways to improve patient care.

Dovetailing with the compounding and medication management services is the one-on-one patient consulting and education services offered through our Wellness Center. Whether it’s private consultations with our Pharmacist/Clinical Nutritionist on Bio- Identical Hormones, or in-home training for injection technique from our nurse educator, we seek out and meet the individual needs of our patients. Our Pharmacists and health educators lecture regularly on a variety of topics including CKD, Diabetes, Nutrition, BHRT and Asthma Management. Our patient care and marketing teams work with Physicians, Case Managers, and state and local agencies to identify and serve patients with special needs.
